Cleaning agents must effectively remove grime, fats and residues while being safe for use around food. CRC offers several food-grade cleaners that help break down contaminants without leaving harmful residues.

3. Anti-seize and assembly compounds

Fasteners, fittings and machinery parts in food and beverage processing plants often require anti-seize compounds to prevent galling and corrosion.

CRC’s Food Grade Anti-Seize & Lubricating Compound FGSL35905 lubricates threaded connections for easy assembly and disassembly, even in high-humidity or wet areas. It’s formulated to withstand extreme temperatures and exposure to washdowns, without contaminating food.

4. Penetrants

CRC’s Food Grade Penetrant FG03086 is designed for use where food safety is paramount. NSF-registered and HACCP certified, it penetrates rust and corrosion to free stuck components.

5. Greases

CRC’s food-grade greases offer reliable performance in extreme conditions. These greases are formulated to be odourless and tasteless, and protect against moisture, heat and pressure.

• CRC Food Grade Grease FGSL35600 is a multipurpose grease designed for bearings and moving parts exposed to water or washdowns.
• CRC Food Grade Synthetic Grease FGSL35610 provides long-lasting lubrication for equipment exposed to high temperatures and heavy loads.
