Many businesses don’t realise that taking a standardised approach to Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) can compromise both worker safety and compliance with legal standards.  ### According to work health  and safety regulations, PPE must be: - Suitable for the job's nature and hazards - Correctly sized and fitted - Reasonably comfortable for the wearer Having [PPE](https://www.blackwoods.com.au/uvex/b/557610/brand)that fits increases wearer compliance, reduces risk, increases productivity and creates a more positive wearer experience.    ### A solution that heroes support [uvex](https://www.blackwoods.com.au/uvex/b/557610/brand)understands that with PPE, it's not just about the products but also about know-how.    > Fiona Smith, the National Marketing & Communications Manager, explains, *“Our mission to protect people drives us to deliver safety products and footwear that are both fit-for-purpose and comfortable for the wearer. This commitment is why we offer personalised approaches, including tailored training and support solutions.”*   [![Safety Spotlight](https://blog.blackwoods.com.au/hs-fs/hubfs/Online%20Form%20Banner%201000x280-3.jpg?width=1000&height=280&name=Online%20Form%20Banner%201000x280-3.jpg)](https://www.blackwoods.com.au/safety-spotlight?c=safety-spotlight-edition-7&page=1) #### Training and support solutions - Customised Training Programs [uvex](https://www.blackwoods.com.au/uvex/b/557610/brand)provides customised training for both users of PPE and their supervisors.
