Sprecher + Schuh, powered by NHP Electrical Engineering has a proud legacy of serving the Australian Electrical Industry for the last 53 years and counting. Contactors
Sprecher + Schuh’s CA7 contactors control motors up to 55kW, in frame sizes ranging from 45mm to a maximum of 72mm wide. Due to a modular design, CA7 is flexible and easy to use. All CA7 contactors use the same accessories, reducing the need to stock additional inventory. They are also mechanically and electrically compatible with Sprecher + Schuh’s new CEP7-1 electronic overload relay. This provides easy, clean installation for a variety of motor starter applications. Whether part of a system or for individual use, the CA7 is the right contactor for the job.
Overload Protection
CEP7-1 is the next generation electronic overload relay. The CEP7-1 is the next generation electronic overload relay. It has enhanced features to better safeguard your motor investments, including increased accuracy and repeatability, a self-powered design with lower heat dissipation, and optional expansion capabilities.
CT7N bimetallic thermal overload relays compensate for ambient temperature while providing overload protection and phase-loss sensitivity. They are a cost-effective way to protection your electrical equipment investment. The CT7N bimetallic class 10 overload relays are designed for use with the CA7 Contactors.
Starters
NHP offer a range of assembled motor starters to suit your application requirements. Choose from Direct On Line (DOL), Reversing Starters, Star Delta Starters and more. Choice of enclosure – open type, plastic enclosure or metal enclosure. NHP can also build an assembled starter to your exact requirements through their Engineered to Order (ETO) option.

Operator Control Devices
The Sprecher + Schuh D7 range includes a diverse selection of 22.5mm operator control devices including pushbuttons, pilot lights, selector switches, emergency stop, multi-function operators and more. The range has an aesthetically pleasing design, allows for quick and easy installation and is modular meaning you can interchange parts with ease which helps to keep the number of stocked parts to a minimum while providing a maximum number of solutions for your application. The operators come in both plastic and metal variants for use in different environments and application requirements. A host of accessories complement the range including enclosures to build control stations, LED lamp modules, legend plates, locking covers, sealing caps and much more!
Electronic Timers
The RZ7 electronic timing relays from Sprecher+Schuh with their solid-state accuracy and reliability gives the user precision control for their application. In addition to standard timing functions such as ON-Delay and OFF-Delay, the series includes a range of timing functions to cover various application requirements and for timing ranges from 0.05 seconds to 60 hours. The timing relays are available with different output configurations, accept a range of AC and DC supply voltages, come with a LED status indicator, rated at IP40 and are compact in size to save you valuable space in the panel!
Terminals
The V7-W range of screw terminals have been designed keeping in mind ease of wiring, providing both safe, reliable connections, and to be durable in application. The series provides a diverse range of terminal blocks to select from to cover your application requirements. Wire sizes are available from 0.5 - 70mm2 and includes a variety of types such as feed-through (single and multi-level), fuse, disconnect, earth, proximity, plug-in, high current terminals etc. Select options in different housing colours and number of connections.
Cam Switches
The Sprecher + Schuh L2 series is a comprehensive range of rotary cam switches designed for use in various control and load switching applications. The L2 range incorporates cam switches rated up to 25 Amps that are modular in design allowing for flexibility in selection of cam switch handles with appropriate switch bodies. The L2 range covers a host of switching functions example, changeover, isolation (ON/OFF), step control, motor switching, load disconnect and more. Select from either a panel or base mount version.
The cam switch range is complimented by a wide range of accessories. This includes extension shaft modules for use with base mounted cam switches which ensures successful switching functions at greater enclosure depths. Other accessory items in the range include enclosures, metal shaft extension systems, terminal covers, pad lockable knobs, legend plates and more.

Whilst the CEP7-ED1/EE Overload Relay has been a valuable part of NHP’s Motor Protection Portfolio for over 18 years, this product is now obsolete and replaced by Sprecher + Schuh CEP7-1 Electronic Overload Relay.
