From electrical work that needs handheld directional lighting, through to warehouse work requiring wide area illumination, quality portable lighting on the job site is crucial. Yet workers often struggle with less than optimal products. Torches can slip out of hands and smash. Beams sometimes aren’t powerful enough to properly illuminate the task at hand. Some batteries can run out before a job is finished.
In response, Energizer has created its Pro Series range of portable lights, designed for demanding applications in mining, construction, oil and gas, electrical, trades and more.
Energizer developed the Pro-Series range in response to consumer feedback. Over 80% of respondents to a survey said they regarded portable lighting as a highly critical or important tool in the workplace to complete various functions and tasks.
They listed impact resistance, long run time, rechargeability, long beam distance and water resistance as the top five features they needed from their lights. These features have been incorporated into the Pro Series.
All the Pro-Series lights are drop-resistant, waterproof and dustproof. They also come with a high-colour rendering index of 90+ (enabling accurate viewing of colour even at night), multiple modes including for night work, a rechargeable battery-life indicator, a non-slip grip and hybrid power (delivered by rechargeable or standard batteries).
The range includes handhelds, headlamps and a work light.
Handheld torches:
Handheld torches come with belt pouches for hands-free storage and safekeeping. They feature an anti-roll design with a bright colour to make them easy to find.
Headlamps:
Headlamps come with a comfortable anti-slip head strap for hands-free work and a USB cable for recharging. They are anti-glare and can be re-directed as required.
Work Light:
It’s also tripod adaptable, and comes with a power bank and USB out feature, which allows for charging devices on the go.
High precision lighting, informed by needs of the pro
Brand Activation Manager at Energizer, Abigail Revel-Enriquez, says what makes the Pro-Series products stand out is that they have been designed specifically with the professional consumer’s needs and desires in mind. This approach resulted in a diverse range to suit different applications.
“The lights are highly robust and durable. They are encased in “rubbery” materials to make them non-slip, anti-roll and non-conductive,” Brand Activation Manager at Energizer, Abigail Revel-Enriquez says. “The products have been designed for professional use, but they can be used by DIY enthusiasts and households too.”
