New CIGWELD Welding System - An ‘EcoPro’ Solution

Whether you’re talking trainee tradies or expert welders, the right equipment makes a huge difference – for the user and the job. You know the frustration of operating older machines that slow things down or affect work quality and stopping to switch between single-process machines for different tasks.

As well as being limited by the metals your machine can manage and knocking back jobs. Stretching the budget to buy more expensive equipment. Struggling to store or lug around bulky or heavy machines. A multi-process welding machine can be a smart solution to these challenges. Whilst there are many models on the market, they tend to be expensive, and specialist training can be costly in terms of money and lost productivity, especially if staff turnover is high.

CIGWELD has changed the game with the launch of the BlueVenom™XF353 as an ‘EcoPro’ solution – economical with professional results. This adaptable welding system doesn’t require specialist training to operate, and it’s scalable, depending on your needs and budget.

Compact and easy to use

Developed by CIGWELD in Melbourne, the BlueVenom XF353 is a 3-in-1 multi-process welding inverter ideal for light-to-medium fabrication, maintenance and industrial repairs. The innovative design allows you to purchase the base unit, then buy add-ons as needed to cater for different jobs. The base is a standard welder that’s narrow in size to give you better access to tight areas at workshops, on construction sites and in shipyards or marinas. It acts as a modular arc station too.

The plate thickness selection is a handy, fantastic feature, ensuring the correct weld parameters for the right metal thickness. The XF353 allows you to weld metals from 1.0mm up to 16mm in thickness in MIG and TIG modes, or from 1.6mm up to 25mm in STICK mode.

Adaptability to suit your needs

Clever add-ons increase the versatility of the system. The compact 4R-ROVER Digital Wirefeeder has an 8-metre interconnection cable, idea for work in hard-to-reach spaces. Use the carry handle or hanging mount to position the wirefeeder on the base machine, floor, bench, gantry or boom.

The hand-held PulseMate™ can be connected to the BlueVenom XF353 or 4R-ROVER to activate MIG Single and Double Pulse for TIG-like welds. It gives you speed and control with less distortion, resulting in a solid, low heat input, professional weld. Working on the back of a semi-trailer or inside a tank? No problem. The PulseMate also comes with an 8-metre lead for further reach.

The direct-connect Push-Pull Gun and Spool Gun allow for more precise control and top-notch welding of aluminium, stainless steel and other hard-to-weld metals. No extra wiring is required. Smooth operation and comfortable handling helps reduce user fatigue, so you can work more efficiently and productively.

Andrew Barnes, CIGWELD Product Development Manager, says the system is a game-changer for anyone looking for professional results, without the hefty price tag.

“We wanted to design a product that could be scaled from an economical price, allowing customers to purchase add-ons to reach the same level of output as expensive, top-of-the-range machines. You are buying a machine that’s fit for purpose for your job today, but scalable for more technical and complicated jobs tomorrow.”
