Heat from machinery, airborne pollutants from welding and other work processes and humidity can build up, potentially impacting worker safety, comfort and productivity. [Fanmaster](https://www.blackwoods.com.au/fanmaster/b/10331472/brand) offers a range of cooling, ventilation and moisture control solutions for industrial workplaces. 1. **Industrial evaporative coolers** Evaporative units cool an indoor area by drawing hot air over moist cooling pads, and then distributing the cooled air via a fan system. At the same time, fresh air is continuously delivered from outside through open windows or doors. The cooling pads also help absorb airborne pollutants. The PAC280-A can cool areas of up to 50m2. It’s also ideal for spot cooling. It includes three air-inlet sections and a three-speed axial fan for effective air distribution. The PACISD suits a larger workspace, as it can cool an area up to 150m2 in size. It comes with four air inlets and a variable speed axial fan. 1. **Portable air conditioning** Portable air-conditioners use refrigerant gases for cooling, making them better suited for workplaces in high-humidity areas.
