Three key elements to setting up your workstation include: ###### 1. Dedicate a Workspace. Pick a space that can preferably be closed off from distractions, has good natural light, and that can be dedicated to just work. ###### 2. Make sure it’s comfortable. Working from home can mean long periods of sitting. For long-term health and better mental clarity, improving the ergonomics of a workspace can make a big difference. If you feel better, you’ll work better. ###### 3. Invest to keep you productive. Think about the technology you use when you are working from the company office that makes you productive. Multiple monitors, an external keyboard and mouse, as well as a docking station to connect them all, can vastly improve efficiency. ### Essentials for navigating with ease ###### Keyboards Whether using a[straight keyboard or curved keyboard,](https://www.blackwoods.com.au/search/?q=Kensington+keyboard%3Arelevance%3Al1Category%3AOffice%2BStationery%2B%2526%2BKitchen%3Aitem%3AKeyboards&text=Kensington+keyboard&item=Keyboards#) using a keyboard sets you up for improved ergonomics by keeping the keyboard close to you and the monitor (or laptop) at arm's length away.   ###### [Mice](https://www.kensington.com/c/products/electronic-control-solutions/wireless-ergonomic-keyboards/?srt=relevance) Using a [mouse](https://www.blackwoods.com.au/search/?q=kensington+mouse%3Arelevance%3Al1Category%3AOffice%2BStationery%2B%2526%2BKitchen&text=kensington+mouse) that's right for you is a vital part of a remote worker's success.
