SINGLE USE PLASTIC

It is estimated that over 40 MILLION plastic (silicone) cartridges are send to landfill in Australia each YEAR!

• Australians throw out >3.4m Tonnes of plastic every year
• >90% of Australian plastic is not recycled!
• Over 3m Tonnes of Australia plastic, is buried, burned or exported
• Increasingly, building sites are requiring contractors to remove their waste from site. 

PROJECT ECO-SNAG

 Goal: To change silicone market from single use plastic cartridges to a more sustainable sausage “foil” pack 

 Reduced Plastic Waste: Every pallet of cartridges results in 106.56kg of plastic   waste

 Reduced Volume of Waste: Cartridges are the same size filled as they once   used,  so every pallet of cartridges consumed still results in 1.38m³ of waste.

 Reducing Landfill: 85% less waste in used packaging, 12 cartridge is equivalent   to 1 used ECO-SNAGS

BENEFITS TO THE APPLICATOR

•  Due to lower packaging cost of the Eco-Snag, this results in lower cost of silicone per 100ml
•  Each Eco-Snag has 100g more silicone which results in 30% faster application as less changes required
• Eco-Snags are easy to use with the Admil Heavy Duty Eco Snag Gun which is the same size as cartridge gun
• Lower disposal costs with 85% reduction of waste required to be removed from sites
• Longer life for re-usability of silicone in the packaging, foils can be snip underneath the cured silicone and continue to be used.
