Industrial survey and spot marking paint is all about communication, enabling directions to be laid down on site to keep construction workers safe and moving efficiently.
Marking paint needs to be reliable, clear and suited to the specific task at hand. It should also last as long as required, without being permanent. Using lower quality paints can result in poor adhesion to the surface material, inconsistent coverage, slow drying, rapid fading, brittleness and cracks, and the risk of the paint simply disappearing!

Dy-Mark Spray & Mark marking paints can be used to communicate service locations, measurements, reference points, work stages and underground hazards, and to mark sections for later removal. They are formulated to produce crisp, highly-visible marks on a wide variety of surfaces, including concrete, bitumen, steel, asphalt, rock, timber and broken ground.
Spray & Mark paints are made from high-quality ingredients and offer:

- A wide range of standard and fluorescent colours.
- Very quick drying time – five minutes at 25ºC based on internal testing performed by Dy-Mark.

- Ability to produce line and spot markings and writing.
- Colours aligned with the utility identification colour conventions referenced in AS 5488.1:2022 for subsurface utility identification.
The colour range includes:
- White: for communications including traffic management and asset identification.
- Green: stormwater/raw water, including sewer systems and drain-lines.
- Orange: electrical services such as underground telecommunication lines.
- Red: fire services, including underground hydrants, sprinkler systems and so on.
- Yellow: gas, including gas pipes and petroleum lines.
- Purple: recycled or reclaimed water.
- Pink: unidentified services.
- Blue: potable (drinking) water.
- Black: intelligent transport systems
- Cream: waste-water.
